Seven Sacred Teachings Conference

An annual youth gathering, the Seven Sacred Teachings Conference was launched to pass on traditional teachings to Nishnawbe Aski Nation's youth and includes the seven sacred teachings of respect, humility, love, courage, wisdom, truth, and honesty. Among the featured topics are Building a Positive Self Image after Residential Schools, Romantic Notions on Love and Respect, Elder Teachings on Tobacco and Medicines. This year's event is taking place at the Nor'Wester Hotel in Thunder Bay.
