Signals for Change

It was easily the most eloquent poem I had read in a long time about Canada's First Nations and their history and situation. The strength that comes from Solomon Cyr's poetry is inspiring.
He speaks about the government's intent to crush and do away with us as a people, yet he also shows his strength of spirit and determination. He reminds us that we don't need to shrink away and be forgotten as was intended because we are a strong and beautiful people and have much to celebrate.
