I wish I can stop the drama that my people are feeling,
To let them know it will be okay
I wish I can tell our people to stop using drugs and alcohol,
To let them know there is a better way
I wish I can help our people that are scarred from sad experiences,
To let them know that they are not alone
I wish I can tell our people to get in touch with our culture,
To let them know they will feel well again
I wish I can tell our people to stop fighting with each other,
To let them know we are in this together like brothers and sisters
I wish I can tell our people to be strong,
To let them know we can conquer anything that goes wrong
I wish I can tell our people to hold on a little longer,
To let them know that help is not far
I wish I can tell our people to be proud for who they are,
To let them know that we are beautiful
I wish I can tell our people to fulfill their dreams,
To let them know that nothing will get in the way for them to be happy
I wish I can tell our people to be successful,
To let them know your family will be so proud for what you have accomplished
I want my people to take this path
I want my people to know the other way is bad
I want us to make it happen
I want my people to stand as one
And I want my people to know this can be done
