Sunset Jail Viewed

I look up to the skies
and reminisce days high
on life so right
playing games on dark nights.

Dimming around flashing lights
still seeing colors on ice
fire in my veins living on ‘I tried’
it’s time for times change, now I see the lies.

Strongly mesmerized by the birds flying high
roaming through freedom that’s something I fight
determined to live limits to the sky
good intentions on the sunset I see every other night.

Resilience is mine
everything else I accept though its life
from the very start the world was spinning right
getting deeper and deeper into my mind then dies.

A beautiful rhythm flowing like a kite
chances are winning colorful designs
wishes blown along with the wind up high
my dreams will come true, as sunset jail viewed is my sky.
