Hosted by the National Aboriginal Achievement Foundation (NAAF), the Blue Print for the Future Aboriginal Youth Career Fair and Workshops will be held at the Valhalla Inn on Feb. 10 beginning at 9 a.m. and will continue to 3 p.m. National Aboriginal Achievement Foundation's mission, through this event, is to assist First Nation, Inuit and Metis people reach their full potential. NAAF Blueprints' are unique career fairs that have been tested and refined to ensure they reach and energize the Aboriginal students in their last years of high school. Lakehead University Student Union's Aboriginal Awareness Centre invites members of the campus and broader communities to take part in Aboriginal Awareness Week from March 8 - 12. The week-long event, which is being held at Lakehead University's Agora Circle in Thunder Bay, offers presentations and activities that will enhance your understanding of Aboriginal people and culture.

Presentations including one titled A Balance of Two Communities, as well as a panel discussion on Aboriginal Challenges and Successes and a special keynote address by Kelly Brownbill titled Understanding Aboriginal People in the 21st Century are among the upcoming features of the week-long awareness initiative.
